You want a soft, subtle piece — but you fear it might be simply bland!

Imagine a cream background adorned with tiny yellow, green, and bluish flowers, like a hand-painted meadow. Stop imagining: the Brigitte is discreet from a distance and full of details up close.

DELACROIX | Brigitte Quilted Country Jacket

  • A miniature meadow
The pattern consists of tiny umbels, buttercups, and grasses. From a distance, it creates a soft color; up close, it reveals a very fine design.
  • The easiest color
Cream enhanced with pale yellow and water green: this jacket pairs well with white, beige, khaki, denim, and black without ever clashing.
  • Light warmth
The padding is thin and even. It cuts the morning chill and is very comfortable indoors, which is rare.
  • Straight and flexible cut
The jacket fits true to size, falls straight, and allows room for a thin sweater underneath. It does not cinch at the waist, so it does not outline anything you don't want to highlight.
  • The gray trim
A dark gray border highlights the collar, the front, and the pockets. This sharp line prevents the softness from becoming washed out.

Discreet does not mean bland: it means you can wear it on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday without anyone noticing. That’s exactly what this jacket will do.

OUR CUSTOMERS TELL IT BETTER THAN WE DO

"I absolutely love this cardigan! It’s soft, cozy, and very comfortable to wear. The quality is amazing, and it fits perfectly. It looks great with so many outfits, and I’ve already received compliments on it!”

"This is my third order from Margaret & Claire and I keep coming back for a reason. Everything arrives quickly, and it always looks exactly as beautiful in person as it did online. It has become one of those shops I trust completely, without thinking twice.”

"I ordered this expecting to send it back, honestly. Instead it's the piece I reach for every single morning. The fabric is so soft, it layers perfectly over a shirt, and it looks just as good with jeans as it does dressed up.”
