The cardigan that walks through fallen leaves and matches each of them.

The Briarwood is a hip-length cardigan made from soft and breathable knit with a light and weightless drape. A maple leaf print covers the body and sleeves in warm tones of orange, red, and cream. Dark tortoiseshell buttons are located at the center front, the collar is collarless and clean, and the relaxed body falls just below the hips. Wear it over a white t-shirt and the outfit is ready.

Perfect for weekdays, weekends, and evenings — from city errands to weekend strolls to cool evenings out.

  • The maple leaf print covers the body and sleeves in warm tones of orange, red, and cream, acting as an accessory.
  • Dark tortoiseshell buttons are located at the center front and can be worn closed, open, or halfway done over a tank top.
  • The collarless design is clean at the neck and layers over a t-shirt or dress without adding bulk underneath.
  • The soft and breathable knit drapes close to the body and remains comfortable from morning to night.

OUR CUSTOMERS TELL IT BETTER THAN WE DO

“This sweater works from the moment you put it on. The fit is comfortable without looking shapeless, and the pattern at the neckline does all the work — throw it on and you're done. It's what I reach for when I want to look good without looking like I tried.”

"I absolutely love this cardigan! It’s soft, cozy, and very comfortable to wear. The quality is amazing, and it fits perfectly. It looks great with so many outfits, and I’ve already received compliments on it!”

"I honestly didn't expect to find the sweater on a random Saturday, but here we are. The team took the time to help me put a whole outfit together — no pressure at all, just really good taste and kindness. I walked out feeling like the best version of myself.”

“I had a question about sizing before ordering and customer service was incredibly kind and helpful. The size they suggested ended up fitting me perfectly.”

Janet R.

"This is my third order from Margaret & Claire and I keep coming back for a reason. Everything arrives quickly, and it always looks exactly as beautiful in person as it did online. It has become one of those shops I trust completely, without thinking twice.”

"I ordered this expecting to send it back, honestly. Instead it's the piece I reach for every single morning. The fabric is so soft, it layers perfectly over a shirt, and it looks just as good with jeans as it does dressed up.”

"I just received my sweater and I'm so happy! The quality and fit are exactly what I was hoping for."

Linda M.

"My order from Margaret & Claire showed up faster than I expected, and the way it was packed made me smile. You could tell it had been done with care. It's the small things that make the difference, and this shop gets them right.”
